About Professor Bailey

Dennis Bailey is an experienced technology consultant, network engineer, software developer, educator, and business leader with nearly three decades of experience helping individuals and organizations solve complex technical and business challenges.

Through Professor Bailey Consulting and DRBAILEYII Enterprises, LLC, Dennis provides technology consulting, network architecture, cybersecurity guidance, systems administration, virtualization, cloud services, software development, and business technology solutions. His consulting work also extends into intellectual property and contract-related matters, general accounting, mergers and acquisitions, business analysis, and financial and technical forensics.

Dennis also serves as a Senior Network Engineer with Tech The Right Way, where he designs, implements, secures, and supports complex network, server, cloud, and communications environments. His approach combines technical expertise with an understanding of business operations, risk management, financial considerations, and long-term organizational strategy.

Since 1996, Dennis has taught information technology, business, and entrepreneurial courses at Lone Star College. His teaching philosophy centers on making complicated subjects understandable, practical, and relevant. He believes students learn best when classroom concepts are connected to real-world challenges, hands-on experience, and opportunities to build something meaningful.

His technical background includes networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, Azure, Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, databases, web development, software engineering, automation, and systems integration. He has extensive experience working with technologies from Cisco, Dell, FS, Grandstream, UniFi, SonicWall, Proxmox, VMware, Microsoft, and other leading technology providers.

Dennis is also the creator of the LMS Course Platform, a modern learning management system designed to help instructors, schools, businesses, and training organizations create, manage, and deliver engaging online education. His additional projects focus on network management, business automation, cybersecurity training, entrepreneurship, online learning, financial analysis, and tools that make advanced technology more accessible.

He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Systems Operations from Lone Star College, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, and a Master of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University.
